We are excited to have volunteers back on-site in time for National Volunteer Week! Since volunteers have returned, they have been busy doing trail interpretation during the day and with our Adult Night Out, Donor Events, cell phone recycling, and working on this year’s Holiday Ornament.

The Minnesota Zoo has an amazing corps of more than 500 volunteers who support our mission, vision and values with their time, talent and treasure. Since the Zoo opened in 1978, volunteers have donated nearly 3.5 million hours of service to the Zoo! Their personal commitment is an incredible way for us to meet the Zoo’s mission in connecting our guests to our animals and the natural world to save wildlife.
