Come get a fresh perspective on nature and let it change and inspire the way you experience the world, and your place within it. The 1.25-mile walking path brings guests up to 32 feet above the ground and provides a year-round and accessible journey into nature for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. During cold-weather months, the Treetop Trail will open, weather permitting, by noon each day to allow for any needed snow removal and winter maintenance. The trail will close 30 minutes prior to the Zoo’s closing time.

Wings & Things! presented by Wings Credit Union.
Join us at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm in the Target Learning Center for our new animal show, Wings & Things! This educational and entertaining show is fun for all ages and included with your Zoo admission. Show run-time is roughly twenty minutes and seating is first-come, first-served. For those with sensory sensitivities, please note, music is played before the program and microphones are used throughout. The 2:00 pm Wings & Things! show will not be available March 5 – 7, 2024.

Around the World Field Trip Stations
February 13-16 and 20, 22; April 30

Learn about wildlife and conservation efforts while practicing your skills in a variety of languages with the help of Minnesota middle and high school students. During our Around the World Days, language students will be set up in stations throughout the Zoo’s indoor areas to converse with guests about animals and conservation in the language of the day (Feb. 13-15: Spanish, Feb. 16: Japanese, Feb. 20: German, Feb. 22: French, April 30: ASL). Help students practice their language skills and you may even pick up some new ones yourself!

Imagination Stations
Let your imagination run wild! Mondays from 9 am to 12 pm we open up our Sky classroom for children (ages 2-5) and their adults to play together. These popular play days are self-directed and include everything from dress up to crafts to sensory activities, and more. Each day is different, drawing inspiration from the animals that call the Minnesota Zoo home! Join us! This is a drop-in program free with admission. Space is limited!
