Daytime Events Included with your Admission.
Wings and Things!
Join us at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm in the Target Learning Center for our new animal show, Wings & Things! See owls, porcupines, and more strut their stuff while learning fascinating facts about our natural world. This educational and entertaining show is fun for all ages and included with your Zoo admission. Show run-time is roughly twenty minutes and seating is first-come, first-served. For those with sensory sensitivities, please note, music is played before the program and microphones are used throughout.
At 2:00 pm each afternoon in the Target Learning Center, our animal experts conduct training exercises to ensure the overall health and well-being of our animals and to prepare them for involvement in shows and educational events. Learning routines, responding to prompts, and being comfortable with people are important elements of both their physical and mental wellness – and you can be a part of the fun! Swing by to watch these rehearsals and get a preview of our animal programming. The training exercises last roughly 20-30 minutes and are open to all with seating on a first come, first served basis.
