Animal Play Day – October 22
The Zoo animals receive enrichment every day to keep them mentally and physically strong – and Animal Play Days give guests a special opportunity to watch enrichment and engage with zookeepers at featured animal habitats.
HallZooWeen – October 22 & 23 and 29 & 30, 2016
This October, the Zoo is celebrating fall color and things that go bump in the night. Enjoy up-close encounters with both cute and creepy critters. From bats and tarantulas to tigers and tapirs, HallZooWeen offers something for kids of ALL ages. Participate in hands-on education programs and watch the animals enjoy Halloween-themed treats throughout the Zoo. Weekend activities include face painting, live music, and more.

December is a great time to visit the Minnesota Zoo. If you’re looking for that perfect holiday photo, bring your family and camera to the Zoo on Saturday, December 3, 10, and 17 and meet Santa. He’ll be available for photos from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Enjoy an early morning snack in the “Call of the Wild” restaurant and a personal visit with Santa! There will be fun activities and a special gift for the kids. Online registration begins Wednesday, November 16 at 9:00 a.m. Seating is limited and will fill quickly.
