See the new Australian exhibit this summer at the Minnesota Zoo and experience the outback. Roam the land with kangaroos, wallabies and emus for a truly authentic experience. It’s going to be wild, mate!

Adult Nights Out
Our new series of events for grown-ups provides guests with the opportunity to explore the Zoo after hours!  $10 admission fee (free for members); food and beverage available for purchase.  Online reservations will go live closer to the event dates.

Butterfly Garden -June 17 – September 4
Enjoy the spectacular sight of hundreds of North American butterflies at the end of the Tropics Trail.

Tiger Tracks 5K & Kids’ Run Saturday, August 26
Join us for our annual Tiger Tracks 5K & Kids’ Run to save wildlife. The 5K run/walk course goes through the Zoo along the outdoor trails. All runners will receive a Tiger Tracks t-shirt and free admission to the Zoo on race day.

Minnesota Vikings Explorers Day – August 30
On Wednesday, August 30th join the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders in a special event at the Minnesota Zoo.

Grandparent’s Day – September 10
Grandparents receive free Zoo admission! Bring the grandchildren and enjoy your day at the Zoo.

Sea Otter Awareness Week – September 24 -30
