Feast with the Beasts
May 16, 6:00 - 10:00 pm

Feast with the Beasts is not your average dinner date! At the Minnesota Zoo, you can dig into delicious food – as the animals do the same. On this long spring evening, you’ll have access to the entire Zoo. You don’t have to wolf down your dinner! Take your time to stroll, snack, sip, and see the animals as they have a nutritious meal. Plus: this event is exclusively for adults age 21+ so you savor a night out without the daytime crowd.

Your Feast with the Beasts ticket includes:

• Complimentary BBQ slider – your choice of pork or jackfruit (VG)
• Complimentary mini dessert
• Beer Gardens: Enjoy three beer gardens with beers for purchase (and some surprises). Sponsored by BlackStack Brewing, South x Southeast, and Surly
• Access to all animal trails and Treetop Trail
• Zoo staff and volunteer presentations while carnivores are fed carcasses and herbivores dine on “browse” (leafy and woody plant material)
• Rides on the Conservation Carousel – where you’ll find carnivores and herbivores galore! Pick from 56 animals and accessible chariots
• Live music from You Oughta Know at the Weesner Amphitheater. Don’t miss the throwback 90s jams!

Additional food, 21+ and NA beverages available for purchase throughout the Zoo.

Naturally Nutritious

The Minnesota Zoo provides the highest-quality food to meet animals’ nutritional needs, health, and wellbeing. That means we provide carcasses and whole prey for the carnivores and fresh-cut plants for the herbivores. It promotes healthy digestion, supports strong teeth, and inspires natural and social behaviors.

At the Feast with the Beasts, you can learn about – and see for yourself – the many benefits whole food provides to animals. Visit with Zookeepers and volunteers at the habitats who will share how animals are naturally engaging with their food. You’ll learn how we source sustainable food to create balanced diets.
