Naturally Wild Yoga! (virtual and in-person)

Join us at the Minnesota Zoo or from the comfort of your own home for Naturally Wild Yoga. On Wednesday mornings, your yoga instructor will be teaching a combined virtual and in-person yoga class from around the Zoo. Each series will highlight a different animal or trail. For virtual attendees, classes use Zoom as the online platform.

Can’t make it Wednesday mornings? Want to take this class on your own schedule? Each class will be recorded and the link shared with all participants. So your registration is good for one in-person or virtual class, and a recording of the class to enjoy whenever you wish during that week.

The Minnesota Zoo’s yoga programs won Gold by the Star Tribune for Best Yoga in Minnesota for 2022 and 2023.

Yoga Instructor

Michelle Darsow has been practicing yoga for 14 years, and teaching for 12. She started taking yoga classes for the fitness part of it. As her journey continued, she realized how much it helped her mind and spirit. She credits yoga for helping her recover from breast cancer in 2015. Her training was completed through YogaFit and is currently deepening her yoga background by taking classes through the National Exercise Trainers Association. Most classes are a mix between Hatha (holding poses) and Vinyasa (flowing breath and body together).
