Join a naturalist-guided interactive walking tour to share information and stories about Zoo animals and conservation efforts…and perhaps a peek behind-the-scenes. Each tour highlights a different Zoo trail and a unique theme, with time for questions throughout the tour and chances to share your own animal knowledge and stories.

Join a naturalist for an interactive tour before the Zoo opens to the general public. Each tour highlights a different Zoo trail, with time for questions throughout & chances to share your own animal knowledge & stories. These tours typically include a behind-the-scenes visit to an animal kitchen or other area related to the highlighted trail.
• Sunday, November 15, 2026- Tropics Trail
• Saturday, March 13, 2026- Minnesota Trail

Time: 9:15-10:45am
Fee: $15 for Zoo members; $18 for Non-Members
Meeting Location: Main (lower south) Entrance
Program Maximum: 15 participants
Accessibility note: participants will travel an approximate total of 1.5 miles on mostly indoor paths, including one set of stairs to/from the kitchen area.
