Adult Guided Tours

Join a naturalist-guided interactive walking tour to share information and stories about Zoo animals and conservation efforts…and perhaps a peek behind-the-scenes. Each tour highlights a different Zoo trail and a unique theme, with time for questions throughout the tour and chances to share your own animal knowledge and stories.

Minnesota Trail: Minnesota Summer
Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 9:15-10:45 a.m.
Minnesota Summers bring so much to mind, from outdoor events and gatherings, fresh produce, and time enjoying Minnesota’s many lakes and natural areas. Visit the animals of the Minnesota Trail and learn about how they spend their summers. Peek behind-the-scenes at the kitchen where their food is prepared and see how their diets change for the season.

Fee: $15 for Zoo members; $18 for Non-Members
Meeting Location: Main (lower south) Entrance
Program Maximum: 15 participants
Accessibility note: participants will travel an approximate total of 1 mile on mostly indoor paths, including one set of stairs to/from the kitchen area.
