Silent Walk
No stress, no noise, no problem! While the Zoo wakes, and the staff begins their morning routines, this silent walk lets you start the day in peace, reflection, and calm. On this walk, we ask all guests to refrain from talking and to just enjoy the sounds that nature provides. This sensory-friendly walk is open to all who want to enjoy the Zoo and nature without the crowds and commotion.
The Zoo is home to an abundance of wildlife, which may be visible along the Treetop Trail. As this walk takes place before opening hours, when the Zoo is preparing for the day ahead, Zoo animals may not be visible. You may see Zoo employees preparing trails or habitats. All ground-level and indoor trails will be closed. Restroom and bottle-filling stations will be accessible in Discovery Bay and the Hanifl Nature Center.
