Our series of events for grown-ups provides guests with the opportunity to explore the Zoo after hours! $10 admission fee (free for members); food and beverage available for purchase. Online reservations will go live closer to the event dates.
Llama Trek – May 25 – September 2, 2019
9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
You herd right. Llamas are here! And they are ready to share their zany personalities. Walk among them without barriers at Llama Trek at the Minnesota Zoo.
Father’s Day Celebration – June 16
The Minnesota Zoo is excited to celebrate Father’s Day! This year we’ll be hosting a Little Llama Lenny Treasure hunt along with dad-themed animal enrichment activities. Dads will also receive a special gift shop discount.
Tiger Tracks 5K and Family Run/Walk – Saturday, September 14
Join us for our annual Tiger Tracks 5K & Family Run/Walk to save wildlife. The 5K starts at the Shady Oaks Picnic area and goes through the Zoo along the outdoor trails.

Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular – October 1 – November 3
Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular back for a 2nd year at the Minnesota Zoo. The trail features over 5,000 illuminated pumpkins of all different sizes, shapes and faces creatively carved and displayed from ground to tree-top.
