The Minnesota Zoo cares about youth and STEM opportunities. Our next great scientist could be YOU! We are supporting this year’s FIRST® LEGO® League season with some informational research sessions related to the ecosystems found at the Minnesota Zoo.

As human demands increase, the pressures to meet those demands outcompetes our ecosystems and the true value they hold. We will explore three ecosystems, all represented at the Minnesota Zoo.
• Tropical Rainforests
• North American Prairies
• Minnesota Freshwater Systems

Come meet, explore and learn more about our animals and what issues affect them the most. Be inspired to make a difference not only in their lives but also our own.

When: Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 10, 2026 at the Minnesota Zoo
What: We are offering two information sessions, 25 minutes in length followed with time for additional questions for the presenter. Resources will be available to assist with your research.

Minnesota Zoo members admission/parking is free but still register on this page to select the information session topic(s) and timeslot(s).
Non-members we are offering special admission pricing of $8/student and $12/adult (2 adults/student ratio) until September 30, 2026. Parking fees of $10 per car will be collected upon arrival at the Zoo and additional adults pay regular Zoo admission.
