Wings Credit Union World of Birds Show

As the birds flap, we bet you’ll clap! Join us for an avian adventure at the Wings Credit Union World of Birds Show this summer. Showing three times daily, May 24 – Labor Day, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the Amphitheater.

Birds will fly, swoop, and circle overhead – but’s that not all. You’ll marvel at the many natural behaviors of birds: singing, running, hopping, perching, problem-solving, and more.

Want to see a toucan? You can! Thanks to support from Wings Credit Union, the show is included with your Zoo admission.

Llama Trek

Take a trip to the Andes—without leaving the Zoo! Llama Trek on the Northern Trail is open daily May 24 – Labor Day. With minimal separation from the animals, you can observe llamas lunching, munching, grooming, and snoozing.

Llama Trek is presented by Expedition Credit Union and included with your Zoo admission. For additional fees, you can also feed a llama ($8 per person), walk a llama along a path ($8 per person), and take a camel ride ($8 per person). The path through Llama Trek is accessible to wheelchairs and mobility devices.

Prehistoric Place to Play

Come walk among the animatronic dinosaurs and explore the natural play structures. This immersive experience takes you back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth.

Dino Hideout is presented by Xcel Energy and supported by TPT. Find the dinos outdoors on the Upper Plaza. Open daily and included with your Zoo admission.

Play Areas and Splash Pad

Let’s play, climb, swing, and splash! Woodland Adventure, Hanifl Wild Woods, and the Splash Pad are open daily (weather dependent). Nearby restrooms are in Central Plaza and Hanifl Nature Center.

Conservation Carousel

Take a twirl on the Conservation Carousel, running daily 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Ride on your choice of 56 animals plus two accessible chariots. Rides are $4 for guests 42 inches and taller; free for guests under 42 inches, with paying adults.

Wild Nights

Five Fridays of music and more… exclusively for adults! Look at this lineup of local music and get tickets. Presented by Bonfe, with stage sponsor Apple Autos, and media support from The Current.

Royal Credit Union Sea Lion Discovery.

Come see what makes California sea lions so cool! Playing twice daily at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Discovery Bay. Royal Credit Union Sea Lion Discovery is included with your Zoo admission, but you must reserve tickets online to ensure we have seating for everyone.
