Minnesota Zoo Hosts 7th Annual “Fish Bites” Sustainable Seafood Event

Apple Valley, MN – June 5, 2015: Join the Minnesota Zoo as top chefs prepare sustainable seafood and freshwater dishes during its seventh annual “Fish Bites” event on Wednesday, June 17 beginning at 7 p.m. Sustainable wine, provided by Lakeville Liquors, will also be paired with each dish.

Fish Bites is designed to raise greater awareness about the importance of buying seafood from sustainable sources. Participating restaurants in this year’s Fish Bites event include The Butcher and the Boar/Four Bells, Heirloom, Kyatchi, Lancer Hospitality, Lucia’s, Marin Restaurant & Bar, Masu Sushi & Robata, Nightingale, The Oceanaire Seafood Room, Sea Change Restaurant & Bar, Smack Shack, and the Third Bird.

Tickets for the 21+ Fish Bites events are $50 and can be purchased in advance at mnzoo.org. Proceeds benefit the Minnesota Zoo’s conservation and education programs.
