Apple Valley, MINN – April 19, 2019 – The snow has melted and the birds are chirping. Summer will be here soon, and the Minnesota Zoo is ready to celebrate! Tickets are now on sale for this summer’s premier outdoor event, Beastly Bash, on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the Minnesota Zoo. Funds raised from the “wild summer night” will help to support the Minnesota Zoo’s mission of connecting people, animals and the natural world to save wildlife.
As Minnesota’s Zoo, this year’s themed event will focus on the Wild North. Leave your penguin suits at home in exchange for your favorite “cabin couture.” We’re taking the party under the stars and celebrating Minnesota’s most awaited season, summer.
This year’s Beastly Bash will feature exciting animal encounters, signature cocktails, delicious food stations and an inspirational program hosted by KARE11’s Minnesota Bound co-host Laura Schara. Guests will also be treated to a special mini-concert by Prince’s former band, the New Power Generation, featuring songs by Minnesota’s beloved musical icon. The party will continue into the night with desserts and a dance party fit for the finest nocturnal revelers featuring music by award-winning DJ Shannon Blowtorch.
Funds raised at this event will support the work of the Minnesota Zoo and great programs like ZooUnlimited, making it possible for everyone to visit the Minnesota Zoo. Because when kids connect with animals, the moments impact a lifetime.
