Come play like an animal in the Hanifl Family Wild Woods!
The Hanifl Family Wild Woods is Minnesota Zoo’s new, immersive nature-play experience that encourages kids to explore and connect with nature. Kids can climb on, crawl through, dig in and discover nature in a “please touch” environment that is free with admission. The 30,000-square-foot upland wooded area adjacent to the Zoo’s new Conservation Carousel features multiple natural play elements like boulder climbs, a climbing horse, log pile climb, mazes, slides, tree top towers with bridges, and more.
Minnesota Zoo is on a mission to connect people, animals and the natural world to save wildlife. We take nature play seriously, because playing in nature leads to protecting nature.
