You’re invited to join the Minnesota Zoo for “Zoo Day at the Capitol” on Tuesday, April 18. With the renovation of the state Capitol complete, the Minnesota Zoo is again bringing some of its interesting and engaging inhabitants to St. Paul.  It is a wonderful opportunity for the Zoo to provide legislators and others who are unable to physically visit the Zoo with a unique, interactive experience designed to explain Zoo programs and activities and literally connect people with nature.

It also helps educate legislators and others about the Zoo’s need for and use of critical state funding.

Please join us between 1:30 and 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the State Capitol Rotunda.  Bring your kids, your friends, your neighbors.  Help us celebrate this state treasure and show our legislators how important the Zoo is to all Minnesotans.

This year, the Zoo is seeking state funds to support our annual operating budget, for capital improvements to our snow monkey exhibit, and to sustain new and enhanced programs through the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Fund and the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund.  Showing legislators how much support there is for the Zoo can make a difference.

Thank you for your support of the Minnesota Zoo and we look forward to seeing you next week.
