Tennant Company Spring Cleans the Minnesota Zoo

Apple Valley, MINN – May 2, 2016 – Tennant Company, a leader in designing and manufacturing cleaning equipment and solutions for industrial and commercial users, will perform spring cleaning for the Minnesota Zoo on May 3/4, 2016 as part of a commitment to giving back to the community.

Tennant will donate its equipment and volunteer time for this event: more than 75 employee volunteers will arrive early to sweep parking lots, clear trails, and scrub floors – helping to get the facilities ready for spring guests and the Zoo’s annual black-tie fundraiser, the Beastly Ball, on May 7.

This is Tennant Company’s second year of spring cleaning at the Minnesota Zoo.  Tennant Company supports its employees giving back to our communities through several events each year.  Most recently, more than 800 Tennant employees volunteered in two separate events in Nevada and Colorado to support deployed and veteran U.S. military personnel through Operation Gratitude.  In total, Tennant employees donate more than 3,500 hours of volunteer time annually to support our communities.
