Wings Financial Credit Union Becomes Naming Sponsor of Popular Bird Show
Apple Valley, MINN – March 20, 2014 –Thanks to a partnership agreement with Apple Valley-based Wings Financial Credit Union, the Minnesota Zoo’s popular bird show is now called the Wings Financial World of Birds Show.
“Our partnership with the Minnesota Zoo is a great way for Wings to reach potential members in the Twin Cities, connect with our current members, and support one of Minnesota’s premier family attractions,” says Wings’ Senior Vice President of Member Experience, John Wagner.
The Wings Financial World of Birds show features a variety of birds from around the world, demonstrating free-flight natural behavior. The show emphasizes the natural abilities of birds, the diversity of species, and the importance of natural habitats.
“We are grateful for the support of Wings Financial Credit Union,” says Minnesota Zoo Director/CEO Lee Ehmke. The Zoo’s mission is to connect people, animals and the natural world, and our bird show is a great expression of our mission.”
The Wings Financial World of Birds Show can be seen daily now through April 20 in the Zoo’s indoor theatre–the Target® Learning Center. Beginning May 24 through September 1, the show can be seen daily outside in the Zoo’s Weesner Family Amphitheater.
