Minnesota Zoo to Welcome New York Times Best-Selling Author Paul Greenberg

MINNESOTA ZOO TO WELCOME NEW YORK TIMES BEST-SELLING AUTHOR PAUL GREENBERG

Apple Valley, MINN – September 24, 2014: New York Times best-selling author and James Beard Award winner Paul Greenberg (Four Fish, American Catch) will speak at the Minnesota Zoo on Tuesday, October 14 beginning at 5 p.m. as part of its “Our World Speaker Series.”

Greenberg will lead and moderate three, 20-minute panel discussions featuring a variety of regional specialists from The Nature Conservancy, Minnesota & Wisconsin Sea Grants, Shedd Aquarium, University of Minnesota and Coastal Seafoods as they discuss issues surrounding Minnesota’s aquatic resources, including  conservation of local waterways, big agriculture and its connection and impact on the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico, and an introduction to local fish species and the fisheries that they come from. Guests can ask questions and discuss a variety of issues during a post-discussion meet and greet.

Reservations are free, but online pre-registration at mnzoo.org is required. The Our World Speaker Series is supported by the Clean Water, Land & Legacy Amendment.
