Improvements to County Road 38 (McAndrews) and the development of the North Creek Regional Greenway may impact your entry experience into the Zoo this summer.
The North Creek Regional Greenway will create a connection from the existing regional bicycle and walking Greenway to Lebanon Hills Regional Park through the Zoo property. The greenway will offer a safe, continuous bike and walking path for Zoo guests, park users and local residents and restored prairies and woodlands along the trail on the Zoo grounds. Here’s a sneak peek at the beautiful trail.
County Road 38/(McAndrews Road) will be reconstructed from May 15-August 6. While this will involve frequent lane closures, there will always be designated access lanes from County 38 into the Zoo from both directions during Zoo hours and events.
