Virtually Wild Yoga!

Looking for a fresh routine, a new look, and a cool experience? Join the Minnesota Zoo—from the comfort of your own home—for virtual yoga. On Wednesday mornings, your yoga instructor will be teaching live virtual yoga classes from around the Zoo. Each session will highlight a different animal or trail.

Expand your wellness practice, change-up your workout routine, or just try something different. Practice your best animal poses, stretch, and relax “in front of” one of the Zoo’s beautiful exhibits.

These classes are perfect for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.

Instructor: Michelle Darsow has been practicing yoga for 15 years, and teaching for 13. She started taking yoga classes for the fitness part of it. As her journey continued, she realized how much it helped her mind and spirit. She credits yoga for helping her recover from breast cancer in 2015. Her training was completed through YogaFit and is currently deepening her yoga background by taking classes through the National Exercise Trainers Association. Most classes are a mix between Hatha (holding poses) and Vinyasa (flowing breath and body together).
