Llamas After Hours*

Enjoy Llama Trek on the Northern Trail, and the animals of Russia’s Grizzly Coast. Bring a picnic dinner from home, or pre-order one (for an extra fee) to be ready for you when you arrive. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Friends-Only Snack with Santa
Date: Saturday, December 7, 2019 and Friday, December 13, 2019
5 – 8 p.m.
Sit on Santa’s lap, enjoy holiday music and treats, and get photos that you’ll treasure forever. When you register you’ll pick a 5, 6, or 7 pm time slot for meeting with Santa; you can participate in the other activities throughout the evening.

Find out what goes into animal training and enrichment at the Zoo—what it is, how it works, and what it looks like. When we’re done, enjoy Animal Play Day with a newfound appreciation of the thought that goes into it and how the animals benefit.

Learn about the Minnesota Zoo’s unique Ulysses S. Seal Conservation Grant Fund and how—with your help—it is making a difference around the world. Several Zoo staff will present on the conservation projects they have championed, including information on the species involved, how their championed project is helping, and the project results to date. We’ll also learn about citizen science and how you can get involved.
Friends Farm Babies*

Friends Farm Babies has become a spring tradition for Friends donors of all ages. Catch a tractor ride all the way from the parking lot to the Wells Fargo Family Farm, and enjoy all the Farm has to offer without the crowds of a regular Zoo day.
Northern Trail Open House*

Enjoy the Northern Trail without the crowds of a regular summer day, including the Conservation Carousel and Hanifl Wild Woods.
All events are rain-or-shine.
