Why should kids have all the fun? These programs, for adults only, explore all kinds of Zoo-related topics with guest speakers, behind-the-scenes tours, hands-on projects, and other interactive experiences. We explain the science, the inner workings of the Zoo, and the stories of our animals in new ways.

Hiding in Plain Sight: camouflages and disguise in the animal kingdom
Celebrate Halloween a little early with this class all about unusual and effective ways that different animals disguise themselves. Learn more about masters of camouflage, meet some “spooky” (but actually very sweet) snakes in the classroom, and hear from both a Minnesota Zoo keeper and naturalist, in this class designed for adults who want to dive deeper into the secrets of the animal world. Create your own animal mask to take home with you, if you choose!

AGES: 18 years old and up
DATE:  Sunday, October 28 from 1-4 p.m.
