Get a whole new view of the Zoo!
How do you train a komodo dragon? What do we think about when we decide to combine species in an exhibit? What’s the grizzly bears’ favorite treat?
These hour-long walking tours are full of fun facts, animal anecdotes, and insider information. The Zoo naturalist will share a selection of facts and stories about the ecosystem the trail is modeled after, our animals at the Zoo and their wild relatives, and the design of different exhibits. Guests are encouraged to ask questions while on the tour. Each tour will include a peek behind-the-scenes where our zookeepers work, preparing diets or feeding animals.
You can schedule your own guided tour on the day and time of your choice for your family, group, or class (ages 8+.) Read more below!
