Not a music festival, but just as much fun! Get hands-on with the summer residents of Llama Trek as you groom and lead them though our Llama Valley. Wondering why llamas don’t have hooves, how they survive at such high elevation, and why they spit? A Llama Trek zookeeper will answer all of your questions, while you also discover some of the other inhabitants of the Andes Mountains.
These classes are especially designed for young people (ages 4–9) and their favorite adults. Our activities, excursions, crafts and games will make learning fun for young and old alike. The whole Zoo is our classroom and visits to “behind-the-scenes” areas with zookeepers and trainers will make each class special.
