Partnership with Urban Boatbuilders
9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
We are very excited to announce this fresh-off-the-press camp with a great partner, Urban Boatbuilders!  Come “sea” what it’s all about!

Join us as we transform lumber into a seaworthy canoe! Campers will learn and put to use 21st Century, leadership, and social emotional skills, all in this challenging, innovative, hands-on, woodworking camp. After campers put their hard work into following building plans, using specialized tools and materials, and solving problems, they will get to launch the boat for its first paddle.  Students will also hone their outdoor environmental skills by spending time on zoo trails and on other canoes learning about the world around them and the world in their backyard.
Fee: $600 (no member discounts apply)
Date: This 2-week camp is August 7-11 and 14-18.
