Girls Rule!
9:00 a.m.–noon
Investigate the Zoo as a naturalist in this girl-focused camp. Meet female Zoo professionals, go behind-the-scenes, participate in activities that naturalists and zoologists do, and find out how to get on the path toward a rewarding zoo career.
Fee: $180 ($155 for Zoo members)

Minnesota Mania
9:00 a.m.–noon or 1:00–4:00 p.m.
This great state is full of natural treasures! Travel the Zoo inside and out, learning about the animals that call Minnesota home. Wrap up the week experiencing a true Minnesota tradition—a fishing excursion on a nearby lake—and put your angling skills to the test.
Fee: $180 ($155 for Zoo members)

Ocean Commotion

Welcome to a world of constant change! Meet the creatures of this wonderful watery world and explore their awesome abilities to survive and thrive—despite all the commotion.

Pizza Pig Out
8:00 a.m.–noon
Get ready for some delicious fun on the farm. Practice your farm animal care skills by helping with morning chores, discover the role farming plays in producing pizza ingredients, and celebrate the week with a pizza party!

Survival Training
1:00–4:00 p.m.
How do your survival skills match up to the “fittest” in the animal kingdom? Study the perplexities of animal survival and animal care. Then test your skills during the “final challenge”—surviving a sleepover at the Zoo’s Wells Fargo Family Farm. Camp will take place outdoors; shelter will be available as needed.
Note: This class is offered Mon–Thu with an overnight on Fri from 5:30 pm to 8 am on Sat (no Fri class).
Fee: $205 ($180 for Zoo members)

NEW! The Climate Challenge

Earth’s changing climate is affecting wildlife, from the tropics to the tundra and everywhere in between. Through observations, discussions, and scientific data, determine what changes have already occurred, what might be in store for the future, and how you can make a difference!

Wildlife Agents

A crime has been committed! The victim… wildlife! Can you identify the perpetrator? Learn about the problems facing wildlife while learning the skills and tools scientists use to track down suspects. Put on your detective hat and join us.
