Tiger Conservation Campaign

In January 2012, the Tiger SSP will be rolling out its Tiger Conservation Campaign, aimed at raising funding for wild tiger conservation, as well as awareness about wild tigers.

Tigers once roamed across much of Asia.
Today, fewer than 4,000 remain.
Please join us in helping to secure a future for wild tigers.

Given the Tiger SSP’s focus on Amur, Malayan, and Sumatran tigers, we have chosen to support the following Wildlife Conservation Society projects:

Amur tigers

      -    Anti-poaching efforts
      -    Tiger Health Support System

Malayan tigers

      -    Anti-poaching efforts
      -    Tiger and prey research

Sumatran tigers

      -    Tiger-human conflict mitigation
      -    Tiger and prey research

More information about these projects and the campaign will be available soon.  Donations will be collected and distributed by the Minnesota Zoo Foundation (13000 Zoo Blvd., Apple Valley, MN 55124).
