Apple Valley, MINN – October 24, 2016 – This October, autumn is coming alive with the annual HallZooWeen event at the Minnesota Zoo. During this zoo-wide experience, families can explore miles of scenic indoor and outdoor trails and encounter both cute and creepy critters, such as bats, tarantulas, snakes and more. Costumes are welcome, but not required.

HallZooWeen weekend activities include:

  • Creature Features (Special zookeeper talks and encounters around the Zoo)
  • Creepy Crawly Animal Encounters
  • Face Painting
  • Live Music
  • Close Encounter Animal Photo Opportunities
  • Apple Press Demonstrations
  • Tropical Reef Skeleton Dive Shows
  • Hay Maze at the Wells Fargo Family Farm
  • HallZooWeen-themed Wings Financial World of Birds Shows
  • October 29 & 30 – Treats and Goodies – 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (While supplies last)

The Minnesota Zoo is committed to the fight to save wildlife around the world and encourages guests to shop smart this Halloween season for tasty treats that are safe for wildlife like tigers, tapirs and orangutans, and contain no or sustainable palm oil.
