Responsibilities for the Summer Early Childhood Education and Nature Play Internship include assisting with curriculum preparation, teaching, and activity creation for the Zoo’s popular summer day camp—Zoo Camp. The internship can also include caring for a small collection of education animals such as snakes, a chinchilla, turtles, a rabbit, a ferret, and a tarantula. Interns will work approximately 400 hours between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The start and end dates are flexible depending on your college/university calendar. College credit required.
