Speaker: Randall Hyman
Date: Wednesday, April 30, 2014
Time: 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Randall Hyman takes his audience exploring glaciers, sitting astride icebergs, peering down seal holes in the frozen Arctic Ocean, and edging along sheer cliffs. He will share the stories, photos, and videos about climate change and its effect on the region he collected while traveling the Norwegian Arctic last year as an Independent Fulbright Scholar on research ships, coast guard vessels, snowmobiles, and ice floes. Hyman will also talk about his 3 decade journey of photojournalism from the Amazon to Africa to the Arctic.
