Paul Greenberg’s American Catch

This fall the Minnesota Zoo will welcome New York Times best-selling author and James Beard Award winner Paul Greenberg (Four Fish, American Catch) who will lead a panel discussion detailing conservation of local waterways, big agriculture and its connection and impact on the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico, and an introduction to local fish species and the fisheries that they come from.

Greenberg will lead and moderate three 20 minute panel discussions featuring a variety of additional special guests from around the region. Watch as they discuss issues surrounding Minnesota’s aquatic resources. Guests will also have time to ask questions and discuss a variety of issues during a post discussion meet and greet.

Other special guests will include Jeff Gunderson of Minnesota Sea Grant, Titus Seilheimer of Wisconsin Sea Grant, Aislinn Gauchay from Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium, Louis Gilbert and Kate Brauman from the University of Minnesota’s Institute on the Environment, Kristen Blann from The Nature Conservancy, District Executive Chef for Aramark at the University of Minnesota, Scott Pampuch, and Tim Lauer, general manager at local seafood distributor and retail outlet, Coastal Seafoods.

The event will start with a 1 hour long book signing and it will end with a 1 hour long, meet and greet cocktail reception complete with free appetizers and a cash bar. Seating is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your spot today.
