Come and learn about the animals and all the care that goes into keeping them happy and healthy during this popular class designed especially for 4th-7th grades. Each month we cover a different area at the Zoo with hands-on activities, a behind the scene tour and close up encounter of an animal.

Our fall session will cover northern trail, farm and aquariums. Our spring session will cover tropics, marine mammals and Minnesota animals.

Icky, Sticky and Stinky
Based on the book “Nature’s Yucky” by two local authors, this camp shows how nature can be kinda’ icky sometimes but at the same time very entertaining!

The Nose Knows – October 19, 2018

Not all animals are cute and fluffy, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t fascinating or important! Join us on a smelly scavenger hunt and learn why some animals are stinky, noisy, or ugly. You never know who might benefit from these icky adaptations – it might even help you!

AGES: Grades 1-3
TIMES: 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
FEES: Members: $45 per day, Non-members: $55 per day.
BEFORE CARE : Offered from 8-9 a.m. for $5/day (optional).
AFTER CARE: Offered from 3-4 p.m. for $5/day (optional)
