Why should kids have all the fun? These programs, for adults only, explore all kinds of Zoo-related topics with guest speakers, behind-the-scenes tours, hands-on projects, and other interactive experiences. We explain the science, the inner workings of the Zoo, and the stories of our animals in new ways. Not only do we have summer ‘Zoo Camp for Adults,’ we now offer year-round camps: fall, winter, and spring. Keep coming back to look for new programs!

Feeding Time at the Zoo: animal health and nutrition, from breakfast to dessert!
With multiple behind-the-scenes tours and keeper talks, explore the kitchens and meet the chefs of the Zoo world! What counts as a tasty treat for a grizzly bear? How much does it cost to feed a sea otter? How often do we feed our 30-foot python? How do you make lunch for a bunch of monkeys? Get all these questions answered in this active class. (Class will include a moderate amount of active walking between Zoo locations. This class will be very similar to the January 2016 class.)
