Frosty Friends
How do animals handle the cold and snow?  Explore the winter life of our Frosty Friends the moose, lynx, reindeer, penguins, owls and more! Enjoy animal visitors, crafts, stories and fun hands-on activities. Celebrate winter at the Zoo! Be sure to dress warmly as we will venture outside to visit our frosty friends most days.

Should I Stay or Should I Go? Migration – Wednesday, December 27, 2017
Some animals take a trip now and then to escape cold temperatures, find better food, and give their babies a great start in life. Enjoy a Bird Show and warm yourself on our Tropics Trail and in Discovery Bay as we learn about animals that migrate long and short distances. You might be surprised why some animals make the trip!
