Animals in Motion on the Minnesota Trail

Enjoy a beautiful twilight hour on the Minnesota Trail, photographing some of our native wildlife – from freshwater fish to our five wolves to an impressive bald eagle. Whether mammal, bird, fish, or reptile, photographing live animals poses a number of challenges; for one thing, they don’t always stay still and pose nicely! Learn some tricks for capturing the agility and excitement of their movements before your chance to practice on the trail. Whether the wolves are bounding across the grass or napping in the sun, whether the bears are climbing their trees or cozied up in their dens, our instructors will help you learn skills to get that perfect shot – and understand the animals’ behavior.
