Costa Rica – Biodiversity, Sustainability, and Tropical Adventure

Join a group of fellow teens and a Zoo professional for a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Costa Rica. We’ll explore the rainforest and beaches as we learn about the area’s amazing biodiversity of plants and animals, local conservation issues, and global matters of sustainability. Along the way we’ll get to try activities like zip-lining, rafting, horseback riding, and relaxing in hot springs. We’ll even meet and work with local high school students. This trip is designed for any high school student (including those graduating in 2015) with an interest in wildlife and a taste for travel!

Date: August 1-11, 2015
Ages: Teens ages 14+
