We have more than five thousand animals at the Zoo. How do we take care of them if they get sick? How do we make sure they stay healthy and strong? In this fun, hands-on class you and your family will get to practice your veterinary skills, analyze some real animal X-rays, hear real-life stories from animal care staff, and meet a healthy, happy animal in the classroom!

These classes are especially designed for young people (ages 4–9) and their favorite adults. Our activities, excursions, crafts and games will make learning fun for young and old alike. The whole Zoo is our classroom and visits to “behind-the-scenes” areas with zookeepers and trainers will make each class special.
