Tiger Cub Cam Tigers need your help: Fewer than 500 Amur tigers remain in the wild, mostly in the Russian Far East. To help Amur tigers, Minnesota Zoo staff coordinates the Tiger Species Survival Plan and its Tiger Conservation Campaign. The cubs: The Minnesota Zoo is thrilled to have two Amur tiger cubs! One was born on June 17 at the Minnesota Zoo and the other was born on July 1 at Saint Louis Zoo. The two cubs were brought together to ensure the best socialization. Both are being hand-reared because the mothers did not successfully nurse the cubs. A Note on Tigers as Pets:
